  12. Looking at the novel, To Kill a Mockingbird, we can see how Atticus reveals his character through the perseverance of always stay the same while others don't.

    2. Topic sentences: Calpurnia shows her capricious identity as she goes to different places. (She talks like a white person when she's at Atticus house; she talks like a black person when she's at church with other black people.)

      Topic sentences: Unlike Calpurnia, Atticus Fitch has always demonstrate an authentic identity no matter where he is. (From the beginning to the end, despite town people disapproval, Atticus Finch, a prestigious lawyer in town, still decide to defend Robinson and always stay up for what he believes in)

      So by having these two comparison, I see Atticus is one type of person, who will not be affected by majority's opinions; conversely, I see Calpurnia is another type of person, who is inconsistent and does not stay real with her true identity.
